What to include
The more constraint you send, the better the first answer.
None of this is mandatory — a one-line question is welcome too. But if you already know these, including them saves a round trip:
- What you are measuring, and over what distance
- Mass and power budget
- Field of view, accuracy or update rate, if they are fixed
- Operating environment — temperature, vibration, sealing
- Indicative volume and timeline
- Whether you need a module, a packaged device, or bare die
